What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi

Eligibility criteria
A farmer family qualifies if it meets these conditions:
- Owns cultivable land registered in state or revenue land records
- Land is in the name of the farmer, spouse, or their minor children
- Family does not fall under the scheme’s exclusion list (income tax payers, government employees above a certain grade, professionals like doctors and engineers registered with their bodies, and a few other categories)
